Which schools have the best coaching staff? Which schools are getting desperate for changes?

IRMO!!! No one can contest Coach Savitz. His record is proof, and you can ask any of his players...they all think highly of him. He treats the boys with respect and demands excellence from them on and off the field.

Interesting. I thought it was questionable pulling, and then utterly ignoring, the first string goalkeeper after Dutch Fork scored last Saturday night (a goal which certainly wasn't the keeper's fault any more than the rest of the team's). If I were that goalie's Mom I wouldn't have felt like my son was treated with respect.

SCSF8, of course it is questionable, because you have absolutely no idea why he was pulled from the game. I can think of a dozen reasons, but they would be the same as yours - assumptions.

There is absolutely no question Irmo has the best coachin staff. Phil Savitz alone would probably qualify for that and this year they also have Dennis Cook and Thad Miller along with about 5? others. Not to mention '05? or '04? graduate Austin Moody coaching keepers.

Irmo may have a better staff than USC these days...it may also be larger.

Coach Savitz moved to 494 wins with Irmo's 3-0 victory over North Agusta, six shy from 500 which only add's on to his legacy in South Carolina High School Soccer.

Not only does it add to his legacy in South Carolina High School Soccer but high school soccer on the national level.

Besides Savitz, I think some other assistants and staffs in the state could contend with the staff Savitz has. Savitz alone is on another level.
