I imagine my children have a different vocabulary when they are not around me, but if I hear them cursing in a match, I don’t care if the ref hears it or not, that child will hear about it from ME when we get home.
So does that mean that you make them sit out the next 2 matches? It's wrong whether the ref hears it or not, right? In essence shouldn't the penalty be the same?
Dawgfan, good question, but I have yet to witness (or hear from anyone else who has witnessed) my child punch or curse on the field, so I'll have to get back with you if/when it happens.
