Anyone want to predict the rematch? I think FM underestimated the first time, and that won't happen again.

Should be a great atmosphere at Clover tonight. Clover's boys team does not have a game so they should be out in full-force supporting the girls. Word is half the student body will be in the stadium as well.

Tempting. But I don't want anyone to pass out at my beauty. I just don't see Clover as having had to maintain a high level of play. Wins over Lewisville and Rock Hill are competition. A loss to NW, where they didn't adjust their gameplan at all. FM will be fired up and ready to jump on them early. I just don't see it being very close.

In all honesty, it would be wonderful to see the Lady Jackets come out fired up. One can never tell (Lord knows after living with two of them all their lives), but I'll be darned if I know how to get them to do it. So many of the girls know and play with each other...it's hard to get fired up to take on your friends. I think Clover is not likely to surprise FM this time, but I still think they'll put up a heck of a fight.

There should be more pressure on Clover tonight. They have to win or they become the 3rd seed out of the region (I believe ties are broken by non-region schedule. I told everyone Clover's schedule would come back to get them.) Unless I am mistaken, the 3 seed will end up playing at Irmo in the first round. That would be BAD for clover. I just don't think they will hang with a FM team who will definately be ready for them this time.

True, this is Clover's last region game, and FM still has a chance to clinch the region by beating NW on Thursday. We'll see. A lot will depend upon FM's subs coming off the bench to spell the starters, and how much the subs can contribute to maintain pressure on Clover. Clover has some wonderful players, but a relatively limited bench.

Will the cowbells be out in force tonight? I predicted a tight game won by Fort Mill last time and was right.

Tonight....a good game but not as tight. Someone else predicted 3-0 and I'd second that. Next year Clover will give FM everything they could want and then some....but I think youth won't be served tonight.

Besides....my daughter wants to play against her Club mates and a tight game ain't gonna let it happen. So tonight I'm fixin' an old fashoined maloccio on the girls from Clover. Short term....only for tonight.
