thanks to you all for your prayers and support. we're certainly going to need them right now, especially with our playoff games starting tomorrow.

this sitation involved none of our players on the team, and we were just as shocked as anyone. however, i know that personally i stand behind our coach because he has done a lot for our team in the past two years and we can't abandon him now. i'm not saying that if he did what they have accused him of that he's not wrong for that, but i know that it has to be hard to deal with right now, especially with the playoffs right around the next corner.

the boys coach and also an assistant coach have taken over and are going to coach us through the playoffs. i hope we have a good run and don't let this affect our performance in the games.

hopefully the local media will begin to focus more on the positvie things at our school as opposed to the negative things they're always talking about.

Yeah, the football team has had some not so great publicity in the past hurt the school. They seem to have that cleaned up, and hopefully the school will recover from this one as well.

If the coach is convicted, obviously he was wrong and needed to be out of there. I hope that the community and Christian folk will spend less time bashing him and more time praying for him. His life will never, ever be the same no matter what the court decision.

lunaXbell is kinda making it sound like they are an official form MC High School. I for one, have my doubt. I do know for a fact that they are not sticking by their coach for all that he has done, because he has been terminated. I just think this is someone trying to stir up more trouble and make MC look even worse. The school and the team have taken measures to move, not to hang on to the past.

I don't know lunaxbell personally, but I am pretty sure that is not an official from MC.

Rather obviously a player, I'd say, and a well-spoken one at that. No fault in trying to stay positive, and holding to an "innocent until proven guilty" viewpoint even though the school has done what they need to do to ensure the protection of its students. My hope is that the truth will be revealed and justice will be done, no matter what that truth is. Best of luck to the MC team as they work to bring something positive to their school in the midst of this shock.

With all due respect to the team and message board folks, the coach was chatting online with what he thought was a "13 year old" but was actually a SLED agent. They just don't arrest people for such things with hard evidence-especially with internet cases.

actually i'm on the team, not an official. and i think coach chass summed it up pretty well as far as the "innocent until proven guilty" viewpoint that i hope to keep.
