kickin, who was the center ref?

Everyone is smacking on the refs for this, but doesn't some of the blame rest on the shoulders of the assignor for that district?

The referre was Sani Hadizamic's (sp). Sani graduted from Irmo several years ago. He was not a father to anyone on the field.

From what one of the chapin players said above, the center ref wasn't a player's dad. Chapin was clearly the more skilled team and would have more than likely won anyway, but the score may have been more along the lines of 3-1. I enjoyed playing the game and appreciate the class that Chapin showed during and after the game. Either way, congratulations to chapin for beating mb and good luck in the next round.

Here is the truth! Chapin is a much better team with TONS of class. Skill won the GAME. The score does not show how well Lakewood played against Chapin. Lakewood's speed is hard to handle and Chapin did it very well. Do I think the Refs were unfair? I would say I saw some very poor calls. I still think Chapin would have still won this game. Chapin just has the players who have the experience. What Lakewood needs to do is get its kids playing year around. Reason why most Columbia schools kill all schools from Sumter is because Columbia kids don't stop touching the ball. If you want to know who had the better athletes I would say Lakewood hands down. Those kids don't know what quit is. Same kids with 2 years playing year round ball I really think they will be dangerous.
