Wando is a good team, their speed and physical play keep Lexington from playing their game. I hate to see the season end this way for Lex. They are a much better team than we saw play tonight. They were a touch away, a step behind, a player short all night it seemed. Oh wait, that's right, they were, now it makes since. Bunch of cheaters!

yea i would like know when playing with 12 people came legal because heck lexington couldve used that hint!

TrueFan, You guys must have not watched the same game that I watched. I didn't see Lexington dominate the game. Lexington played hard, Wando played hard. Wando scored and defended well, so Wando won. Both are good teams with quality players. Yes, both teams played a very physical game, but playing hard is the reason that both teams made it to the Championship game in the first place. If Wando had been trying to cheat, the Wando Coach would not have reported the 12 on the field at all. After all, why would she do anything to taint the game when Wando was winning?? The clock had wound down to under 3 mins left when that occurred anyway. Ultimately, it was the Refs job to watch the subs. It wouldn't have mattered anyway. Lexington played hard, but Wando played just a little bit harder. Congratulations to the girls on both teams for playing a hard-fought game.

Cheating entails a conscious decision to break the rules in order to get ahead.

12 men on the field is a mistake that can happen at any level, it's just that the higher you go, the more cautious they are about protecting against it--ie having a fourth referee whose sole job it is to make sure the mistake doesn't happen.

From what I know of the team, I seriously doubt that it was done on purpose, especially since it's veritable suicide to do so on purpose in a game at which a fourth referee is employed. Thus, the event would be a mistake. A poor, preventable mistake that did not help Lexington in the least...but a mistake nonetheless. Pointing fingers and calling names and impugning people does no good now as it's over. The fourth referee should no longer be able to work that position or center referee, or even in the league anymore. As for anything else, you can read my position in the Disaster thread.

those 8 minutes could have ment OT bc if i recall wando scored agaisnt DF with 3min left in the 2nd OT so it does matter and lexignton played hard and i really dont think wando played harder

wando didn't cheat. it was a mix up. sorry that during the biggest game of the season the fourth referee( who is in charge of subs) didn't see that there were 12 players. stop trying to steal wando's glory.
