Now that we've had time to digest the summer prep soccer activities, I want to publicly thank the Carolina Elite Soccer Academy for their continued support of the North-South Soccer Classic. Co-Executive Directors Andrew Hyslop and Pearse Tormey have been instrumental in assisting the SCHSSCA in staging the game the last three years, and in particular the past two all-star events in the Upstate.

This years' edition at T.L. Hanna HS in Anderson was reminiscent of earlier North-South Soccer Classics played at Wando HS in Mount Pleasant in both atmosphere and the quality of the services rendered by CESA. CESA's contributions included:

- 50 hotel rooms at the Quality Inn Anderson;
- Six Match balls;
- Uniforms for 64 players;
- Polo shirts for each participating coach;
- More than 100 t-shirts for players, coaches, and support staff.

In addition to the material goods provided, the SCHSSCA appreciated the CESA delegates at the Hall of Fame and North-South Soccer Classic Banquet on Friday night and their MVP presentations at the games on Saturday.
