Please vote in this thread concerning your interest in participating in a senior soccer combine which would enable current high school seniors to showcase their abilities to collegiate coaches sometime this winter.

The poll is available at HS Senior Combine Thread

That sounds like a great idea, but why not open it up to this years Juniors also? Many colleges have completed their 2008 recruiting class, and are now working on their 2009.

"Many colleges have completed their 2008 recruiting class"

I think that's why it's more important to the seniors. Going into their senior year people make them think if they haven't been recruited it's too late.

Sportfreak,
I am not advocating leaving out the current Seniors (2008's), just adding the current Juniors (2009's) also because D1 schools are already working on their 2009's. I have friends whose children are 2008's, and many 2008's are already verbally committed, though I am sure there are some spots still open for 2008's.

Senior year is too late; colleges are looking at club players way earlier.

So this is a great idea for seniors who might grab something or catch an eye, but it should include other classes as well. This would be a great way to show that HS soccer is another pathway to college—since many see soccer as a "club only" college connection.
