It isn't a done deal with a particular team, but he is coming here. DC is a possiblity.
Just a little background info:
Not totally sure if he is past his prime. He is 33. He scored 10 goals in 33 appearances for his Argentinian team "Racing Club". He has 58 appearances for the Argentinian national team and has played in 2 world cups.
He played for Valencia in Spain and Lazio in Italy. He racked up some impressive goal tallies there.
I'm excited about this move because I think he will definitely tap in to our South American audience. He's not a "huge" name, but he's big enough to get some "others" to come out and watch. I think he can compete well in the league, although he may need to adapt to the toughness of the league (as do many incoming foreigners).
It should be interesting to see which team he goes to.
