I’m curious about something--- How many of the high school/club soccer coaches here in South Carolina are “homegrown?” How many are not originally from these parts?

Me—Pretty much been here all my life aside from visiting here and there.

Went to/played HS soccer at Sumter HS- Class of ’86. Did go to NC for college.

Who else?

Born in MD (as was the rest of the fam), but my soccer birth/education was completely SC.

Born in TX, raised and played college ball in SC.

If I had a nickel, no no a penny every time I have heard that one!
