Do Rock Hill High and South Pointe count as underdogs?

I think they both are considered underdogs still. Rock Hill and South Pointe play tomorrow night I believe so that game will be huge for region standings.

Carolina Forest is doing well. Ranked for the first time since the '05 season. There could possibly be a few upsets in Region VI-AAA (Socastee, Myrtle Beach, NMB).

Call me an optimist, but what is an "underdog" without a little hope?

Blue Ridge. Playing with a history of 1 win three years ago, 2 wins two years ago. In a region with Riverside (1), J.L. Mann (2), Eastside (6 but should be much higher), and Wade Hampton (14th ranked). Only three club players, six tenth graders, five ninth graders, two seniors.

6-1 regular season so far with 3 scrimmage wins. Nine shutouts (Six consecutive). 53 goals to date versus 23 all last year. New players, new system, new coach, new attitude, new results.

We are having fun, and just got ranked 15th for the first ranking ever! They stopped school and announced it!

Oops, I didn't realize that this was the girls' forum! Oh, well, put in the Blue Ridge Boys' team who tied Byrnes, is undefeated in regular season, and plays Eastside tonight! They are awesome, and no one knows it.

As I read the thread title - I couldn't help but respond!

I'm not sure if you meant "wining," in which case there are problably more high schoolers that are in this category than we want to admit - both underdogs and seasonal leaders.
Or if you meant "whining," in which case I find that it is not the underdogs, but those who think they are much better than they really are and "never get the calls."
Or if you meant "winning," in which I would have to add Southside High School in Region 2 AA. They seem to be playing very well and have beaten the typical soccer teams of that reagion (Woodruff and Broome) already.
