The All-State Teams are not really " ALL-STATE" Are they? in 4A there are better players that could have made it like Alex Martinez? There is only 2 NW players on the team. And from SV there is not that exchange student? In 3A half of Chapin's team could be on it and especially Joey? He is on a Region team for the United States? How do they pick these teams? And only one B.C. player..could be more than that!? Jus t don't understand this very much? More kids of Irmo could have been picked also? Wando only has one? Come on. Anyways, Congrats to these players! Good luck in Playoffs those that have made it! Lets get it done Irmo!

Does anyone know when the gatorade player of the year and state player of the year for each classification is coming out???

There are always players left out of All-State teams every year. In particular this year, Robbie Benson from NW, Alex Martinez from NW and Holland from SV. Benson holds down the defense like a beast every game and Alex is, well Alex. Holland has proved himself as well. But congrats to all that made it.

According to their site, May 12 is the date for the State Announcement for Boys. Girls is listed as May 5 for State Announcement. I have not heard anything however.
