Coach Chass -- That's a very good suggestion. We will certainly implement that for next year.
We are in negotiations with the SCHSL and USC about our future at Stone Stadium. There is a faction within the HSL that would prefer not to use Stone Stadium due to the fans not being able to be split on two sides of the field. Also, the HSL has a concern on the security arrangements provided at USC.
I'm meeting with USC folks today to address these issues as well and hopefully we'll reach an understanding. Personally, I love having the state championships at USC. The only other venue in the state that I would support over a move from USC would be Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island and that's simply due to the fact that it is one of the premier soccer-specific stadiums in the country.
