As a Riverside parent I want to extend a HUGE congratulations to the boys at Chapin for an outstanding season and a great game on Saturday. There wasn't a fan in the stands or player on the field that wanted that game to end in PK's but unfortunately that is the current format. My heart went out to the Chapin seniors because my son is a senior as well and I know how deeply that loss would have hurt him and the rest of the seniors. I heard nothing but compliments from the Riverside boys about the character and sportsmanship of the Chapin players...you, your coaches and families have a lot to be proud of...I wish all of the seniors the best of luck in all of their future endeavors.

For the Riverside boys...it has been an amazing 4 years and to just get to the finals twice in the past 4 years is a huge accomplishment. To end up on the winning side twice is more then any of us could have asked for. Part of being a Riverside Warrior is living up to the tradition that has been laid by previous players/teams. This years team has met that standard and raised the bar a few notchs for those who follow.

Probably the best 3A final in a long time, so congrats to Chapin on that and a fine season. Yea Riverside is pretty talented all around. Makes sense, since they're from the upstate and "Upstate soccer is the best". great point TPC

As a Riverside alum and owning the 1994 and 1995 State Championships, I want to extend the utmost congratulations to my alma mater.... THE MIGHTY WARRIORS!! I take so much pride in what you guys are able to do!! Congratulations, enjoy the win and relish the moment!!
