For the record, while observing the NC1 vs. FL1 94 girls match, I was not talking with the State DOC for eather of those states. He was from another state. His resume was strong and I got the impression that his opinion was well regarded. He was also a full-time employee of the state association, we don't have that luxury in South Carolina. Maybe we should consider making our state DOC a full-time position, with higher pay and better benefits?

I could have drawn a similar conclusion, based on your conversation with that administrator. If there is a disparity in the license qualifications of administrators and those administrators are influencing region coaches on a per player technical basis, then there should be an all or nothing rule.

I can't imagine how any administrator could think he/she would have the ability to pass judgement on player within every age group across their state. That's why I don't think any of them do, even if they are qualified to do so.
