When the kid is sitting in the back of his (or her) parent's car, or at the dinner table, and all they hear is mom and dad reinforce the fact that the "refs suck", how do you expect them to react on the field when they perceive that things aren't going their way?
Maybe we as parents should stop using the game officials as an "excuse" and try to set a better example for the players (our children).
