another "YOUNG LADY"/Parent on the team turned us onto the shoe drier. if you use it when they are wet or sweaty there will be no smell.
What is the "shoe drier"? That might be the answer.
purchased at Dicks sporting goods for 20 bucks. you can plug it in at home and it has a car adapter. put one in each shoe and plug it up. it dries the shoes out. keeps the smell away.

Does it work on those "Coach's shoes after practice in the rain" smells too?

Mine never smell. That's unbelievable, but true. I have checked with several men's college players and there is a different smell than with the girls'. We need a chemist.

If Billy Mays is promoting it and I can make three easy payements of $9.99, I am so buying it. Presently I am trying to eradicate the cat funk smell from my son's cleats.

I got some goose repellant from Lesco's that I am also going to try if the dryer doesn't work. I guarantee if you dunk the bottom of your son's cleats in that stuff, at least the geese will stay away.

What about "Coach ate Taco Bell before he picked up the bus to take us to our game" smell?

No cure. Just time and less friends.
