This maybe a chicken or the egg type question.
Does anyone know if Shannon Champ chose to coach her daughter and not her older Bridge team, or did her older team leave to go to MPSC and play which the allowed her to now coach her daughter?.

Not your fault, AdidasKitten, that the can of worms was opened.....it was inevitable based off the initial post.

As for which came first, Shannon's decision to coach her daughter's team or her former older team leaving, does it really matter? With the changes the former Bridge FA organization is undergoing (uniting with SAA Elite and CGSA Myrtle Beach) to form a new club, Coastal United FC, I'm not surprised coaching changes were made........anymore, coaches/players/teams have become a revolving door for change.........change is inevitable. That's the nature of the beast with club soccer. While we might not be able to control the changes made, we do have a choice how we wish (personally) to deal with them..........

Mikey,

Again.....what high school is she at?

If she's at Wando or BE, I'm sure there are plenty of parents, coaches and players that can point her in the right direction.

Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.
