Any details on the girls game?




Could been easily been 6-0 but you know soccer. SR failed to finish twice on 1v1's and had a shot just wide. A couple other opport. from other players that could have gone in all in first half. First half score 0-0. Pretty much the same second half.




^Agreed. I was so impressed with our girls! It's amazing how after only a short practice that they were able to look like they had played together forever! Stephanie Rose lived up to her reputation, a joy to watch, UNC-W is very lucky, indeed. My daughter, having never met her before, was particularly struck by how unassuming and nice she is for a player of her acclaim. Alisha Woodson, defender, is grace under pressure and makes a very difficult job look like a piece of cake. I'll be surprised if she doesn't make an immediate impact on the Wake Forest team. All in all, a very competitive, physical game and never a dull moment. Thanks to all who make/made this possible!

NC's class of 2010 (ladies) is loaded with very good players.

sc girls talent level seems to be tapering off a bit compared to past years. the sc(2008 class) age group was solid but the 2009/10/11 class ages don't appear to be as deep. the nc 2008 girls were loaded but sc got the win in last year's clash game.
