He gets players, just like everyone else.(I do not think, he can pay them) He measures everything they do, everything, grades them out, measures off season conditioning improvements, praises good things... etc. I believe he calls it the competitive cauldron.
Is he the only guy in the US that can run a 3-4-3, does he have a patent, on it? I do not think so..
He is part of the success... no doubt what so ever...
If you would read my post, I said he chooses from the same raw material, not that they only have raw talent. Every D1 coach has a chance to recruit every player Anson gets. They come from all over.
Funny thing he says if the team does not like a player he will not recruit them. Bet that never culls out any good players. Something about that pesky team chemistry...
I would say the Discovires (Sic) winning a national championship before CESA or Columbia, kind of proves all of my points, all by itself. Poor old CESA,and Columbia with its best coaches, best fields and best players. Little team from RockHill beat them to the ring.
