Maybe they need to have an executive board that has a member from each sport represented. That way it is not stacked in favor of one or the other.

Wait. I'm told (by Roger Hazel personally) that when it comes to illegal preseason conditioning activities, throwing a tennis ball is the same thing as kicking a soccer ball...

But swinging a helmet is not the same as swinging a fist?

I thought football people were supposed to be tough. They were crying about a 1-3 game suspension and can still be in the playoffs? So what if no one got arrested...maybe that is because no one pressed charges. It would be easy with that video to press charges of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature (use of helmet as a weapon).

Well for those of you who do not know last week we played summerville and there was not handshaking after any of the games, B-team, jv or varsity! He told his coaches he is never shaking hands again.

Does McKissick not understand that he was not punished a couple of years earlier for an illegal player??? Come on, he gets preferential treatment with everything...i mean I used to work for the guy!

Thanks for the video's Kyle - first time I had seen them. All I can say is WOW! A coaching legend in this state that has seemingly turned into a bitter looking and sounding old man. He seems to think the whole issue is the Wilson - Lake City fight from last year versus his teams recent fight. In my eyes WRONG coach. The real issue is the numerous teams statewide that haven't been allowed to compete for a region title or a state championship for one illegal practice, one illegal player participating in a scrimmage or a similar violation that often times is simply a misunderstanding of SCHSL rules. Then your team shows a total breakdown of simple sportsmanship and in your warped judgment you try to defend their actions. Then when Jerome and his gang don't bow completely to "his royal coaching legend" you act like the victim. If I had a kid that played on your team I would probably be more ashamed of what you said about it than the actual fight on the field. I'm not sure what is worse SCHSL's lack of giving deserved punishment or your comments about it. Congratulations to you and the SCHSL on the horrible lesson just taught to your team, community and state!

if this was soccer, the season would be over for both teams.
