Paul Armstrong would be a great fit. I believe there is mutual interest as well.

nice guys aren't always good/great coaches. without parent's voices ad/administrators would not have a clue concerning soccer matters. even more so with it being girls soccer.

what happen to Heather? wasn't Irmo last strong run with her as coach?

I think his record speaks for itself! Mauldin is a class act on the field and off! Its too bad that certain parents can ruin a good thing! Hopefully Irmo's girls remain a class act without Mike!

Mike Mauldin IS a class act. Let's hear from any coach that hasn't been put through the washer with players or parents. Thanks for your service for all these years Mike!

Coached against Mike a few years back and have gotten to know him recently. I agree, he is a classy guy and his team always played hard, clean, and fair. I hope he finds a job he likes where he is treated well.

Do parents have that kind of pull? I could see this happening more in a private school setting..Must of been important parents..if they can dictate who will and will not be coach

Ralph Garofano would be an excellent replacement and certainly familiar with the program, having been an assistant there two years ago.
