Irmo has a lot of returning talent with a solid back four including a new sophomore that is playing well. They added a transfer that looks like he will be able to score a lot of goals in highschool. If this team plays as a unit and not as individuals like in the years past they have to chance to do great things. Lets hear it from around the state? What other teams are looking strong?

Should be a good season to sit back and watch the difference between last years Irmo team and this years team. They will indeed be better the question is how much better will they be. The same question goes for Northwestern both teams will still be top notch.

Not to nit pick but I do not see how NWHS will be better this year. They will still be a great team, likely to compete for championship again, but what they lost in talent will not be made up for with raising JV players. I think the real question for them is can they equal the no loss record and score as many goals this year as last year.
Not being a NWHS hater, just wondering how much the remaining stars will miss those they lost. As for Irmo, I have no idea, but they will only be better this year if they can win it all, anything else is the same as last year or worse.

What stats are you looking at?

I really don't care which team is better, we'll find that out soon enough! But if your going to spout "stats" at least get them right!

North Western:

Combined W-L-T record of Opponents: 196-128-6
Goals Scored: 147 - Goals Allowed: 10
Exhibition matches are excluded from these totals
