These two teams are obviously incredible talent-wise. thats a given. yes they both have the stats and yes they both have the justification of why they're names are bigger than surrounding SC schools. but the way i see it, there is no need to argue. both of these teams will do well in the regular season this year and in their region but my estimation is that the both of them will suffer surprising losses. In region 5 Irmo is placed with three other top 15 teams and in the upstate Fort Mill will give Northwestern a run for their money. in my opinion i don't see either one being better than the other this year. it will be a very interesting season this year to say the least. good luck to the both of them.

As has been said before "There are lies, da*n lies, and there are statistics!"

My point was about the fire power that NWHS lost. I know they are returning great talent, but not the same level they lost. Sure there are some still there from last year just as talented as what they lost but I doubt they had another Enzo playing JV last year.

Not sure about Irmo, as I said, but they only have a better year this year if they manage to win it all! It is the mark of a great program when the only way you can be judged to improve is to win a championship!
On the other hand NWHS will have to win it all again just to be as good as last year! Anything else would be first loser! (sorry could not help myself, I know they are good kids and will be winners no matter what )

i think its the mark of a great program when they have the expectations of winning a championship every season and they actually deliver. yes you are all right nhs does not have enzo and some of the talent from last year but there is one person that they still have, Dominic Wren (not trying to start a whose got the better coach argument both are extremely talented coaches) As long as he is the coach and the boys buy into what he has said for the past 4 years than come playoff time no matter how the regular season plays out.. 4A soccer better be ready for northwestern. no one gave them a chance 2 years ago saying the same things they lost too much talent from the year before and didnt have any stars coming up from JV and look what happened. Irmo may be the best team out there this year talent wise and will have a good year no doubt but if the 2 teams meet in may again things will get interesting.

Wren is a very talented coach and has proved that through the past years. Northwestern will always have talent and there are a few great returners coming back to compete at the top. I definitely have to agree with you squanc things will be interesting but like i stated before and feel confident about: there WILL be very surprsing losses.
