I would say, speaking for the mood of the crowd on Sunday Morning, that Transplant is right on the money with his assessment of you, Chief. If you would have actually shown up Sunday, you could have experienced that felling first hand from several hundred people.

I can only type so fast. As for showing up Sunday I would have loved to have been there but as I said before work was in the way. A large crowd would not have bothered me either, you do not do what I did for all those yer to get the title and not develop a think skin. I have on the other side from people who actually wanted to kill me not just yell so imagine I would be able to handle an angry crowd with humility.
The intent was to be funny not create confusion. I did not realize people where actually using the post to make plans. If I caused anyone extra work or problems for that I am sorry. The "glib" manner of the comments was meant to provoke laughs not deride the people running the tournament. I know that the work was hard and thankless except in the personal pride those running it could feel at a job well done.

I will also apologize to the NHS team if they feel my comments were a slight to them. I really was not sure why they did not want to play in the championship match and worded my question poorly. Perhaps there were reason I was not aware of so I will gladly accept that the coaches were doing what they felt would be best for the team.

To be clear let me say it plain and simple I am sorry to the parents and the girls if it was hurtful.

Thanks Big Daddy but I will take the foul call on this one. I tend to be a little gruff and chippy, comes with the job and life style I lived all those years. I sometimes let my mouth outrun my brain and sometimes my heart outruns both. What my sometime warped sense of humor saw as funny caused some distress for people who were doing a thankless job, something else I know a lot about, and that was not my intention.

As for for my comments on Bones apology I was merely echoing your sentiment that the coaches are great for sticking up for their kids! For that intent I would not be sorry.

No not familiar with it, but if you think your awesome then I am glad your self esteem has not been bothered by my banter.

As for the only facts things I put up statistics and numbers and commented on what they seemed to show in response to what someone else posted. I was not twisting them or distorting them, not trying to anyway. You and someone else hammered me for pointing them out without commenting on the substance. I am open to discourse and willing to defend my comments but there has been nothing but name calling so far.
