Did Ridge View, Spring Valley and Blythewood know that they were all going to the same tournement??

Seems to me they could have just scheduled another round of region matches and bypassed the entry fee!!!

They all played in the tournament last year also...good friendly competition going in to the home stretch for playoffs. The 6 teams in the tournament are all pretty well matched IMO. Should be some good games.

They didn't have to play each other in the preliminary rounds last year because there were eight teams. Eight were scheduled again this year but two withdrew in January leaving only six teams.

Lots of changes for this tourney it seems. Don't understand the field of teams either. Awfully late in the year for a tournament against the same teams you have already played and might see again in the playoffs.

50th for a reason!
