Sandman, I am not hung up on anything I am just courious about how the club runs. From what I have read and seen where I used to live the club runs like a company out to turn profit, but is getting/using a nonprofit status. Seems almost amwayish in the way the offer programs and things to client/franchise clubs. If they are able to generate profits and then turn that around to offer better programs thats great, but some of the gripes I heard when they came into VA (where I lived at the time) was that they took over a tried to starve other clubs out then ended up having higheer fees than where there before once they were the only "game" in town. Much more detailed then how I have put it but as you say would not want to bore people. Guess they can research it and learn for themselves.

With all the talk about the lack of fields can someone in the area give a heads up on the two locations that the Rush is holding tryouts at, the quality of fields.

The field across from NaFo is in the middle of a gigantic strawberry patch. Parents can drop their kids off and go pick a couple of quarts/pecks.

Folks need to keep their expectations low. Talking about CESA in one breath....and then hitting these fields will be a harsh wakeup call. And in fairness to SC Rush....they aren't talking about CESA, its the folks speculating on the forum on what could be who are doing that.

This is a couple of experienced coaches with a startup Club using startup fields, most likely with startup kids.

Big Daddy, your from the Fort Mill area, what do the folks running SC Rush plan on providing that CESA isn't. Can anyone tell me how this club can meet there mission statement of being the top club in the state, what am I missing, it will never happen.
