My child has played ODP, R3PL high school and Academy.
I've seen some great coaches and some not-so-great coaches.
Over time, I have reduced my comments during games to little more than clapping and encouragement, if that. I pretty much reserve any negative comments for officials, but I am direct and pointed when I see a problem. I have never been asked to leave a sideline, nor do I expect to be.
In my opinion, kids deserve a fair, hard-working effort from officials. When officials don't give that, they will hear it from me. And I think they should.
