Kim Kesler hits a rocket as we start the second half but it is handled cleanly by Madison Lightbody. Good shot, great save.

Outstanding corner kick lofted to the far post by Kimmie Baston and it is headed just past the post by Taylor Player.

The South continues its quest for the equalizer as Sara Simpson and Taylor Player team up for more attack on Amy Kolowsky and the North goal. So far, Kolowsky has been up to the task.

Kim Kesler gets down the left touchline and rips a shot into the side netting. Only way you will beat Madison Lightbody is with a low and hard shot and the score remains North 1-0.

Jean Weisner hurls a long throw in toward the penalty area and the South is rewarded with a corner kick. Great serve into the goal box and and the shot goes awry.

That equalizer seems a long shot now as the clock ticks down under five minutes with the North clinging to a 1-0 advantage.
