Just remember parents, let the kids enjoy the game. Representation is important, but if you're taking the joy and excitement out of it, then what is the point?

Things happen. Most of the time people do have a back-up just in case they can't attend the meeting and the back-up can show up. But in this case, the back-up couldn't. I am sure that with earlier notification someone would have went in their spot, but it just didn't happen quick enough. Equal representation is important, but at the same time you can't postpone a meeting because a few coaches can't make it. You have to stay on schedule. Think about it, to coordinate a meeting of many coaches from different regions and different ranks around the state at one time isn't the easiest thing to do I would think. From now on poeple just have to be sure that there is someone who can fill in if there is ever a need.

As I said earlier though. Just let the kids play and have fun. It's their life and their game. Not yours.
