Now, see, that's the difference between enforcing the INTENT of the rule (eliminating similar colors that can be confusing on the playing field) and enforcing the LETTER of the rule without seeming to understand its intent (interpreting "plain white" to mean without any little highlights that couldn't possibly lead to confusion with the other team).
Unless, of course, I misinterpreted the intent myself. Still waiting on the word from the wise to clarify.
