Obviously you have not had a son or daughter being recruited. Girls soccer very rarely gets much more than 1/2 athletic scholarship. In a players case from SC going to a SC school, if they had good grades they would first get the lottery money which is $5000.00/yr, which would pay for over half of tuition. With other scholarships in state players very rarely need much over $4000-$6000 a year of athletic to get all their education paid for. The universities call this stacking. This is a testimemt to the type of grades most women athletes get. Now football is a whole other monster I am talking womens soccer.



Exactly, thanks. If 4-6K of soccer is the minimum then, like I said, that will add up to enough to make up for the 20K you paid. And, don't be naive. Coaches stack money to make the package bigger and more attractive to a player. Alot of schools have pre-determined amounts for certain academic standards. So, again soccer does help if you select schools properly.
