But if ECNL kids, that want to continue soccer in college, look at level-appropriate schools, they are most likely going to narrow down to 3-5 choices that have a nice combination of athletic and academic money. And money, that over four years, will offset or exceed the 20K spent on U15-U18 ECNL years.
Remember, a lot of coaches/Athletic Depts have earmarked, non-athletic money to package with athletic money. If a coach only gives 5K of athletic along with 5K of non-athletic, that's still 40K over a career.
Not a bad return for that expensive ECNL. Better then paying full price?
