I guess my only presumption is players are seriously into soccer, applies themself for the 5K they are paying U15-U18 and works at finding a college. Anyone that cheats in those areas and aren't held accountable by their parents to do so then, yes, I guess the return might not come.
Kids on ECNL level teams, that LOOK AT LEVEL-APPROPRIATE SCHOOLS, can find these positive, financial situations.
Other options to save money? Don't make every ECNL trip a family vacation with everyone going. Or, don't play ECNL.
