Here's a good question.. If a high school basketball player would tell the high school I'm going to miss a few games because I have to go and play with my travel team. What would the High school say to that player?

She quit swimming, didn't like the cold water early in the morning. Riverside does have a swim team, but it doesn't overlap with SAIL. You can't compete in both at the same time. You have to be committed to your current team. Plus swim lessons don't run $145 per month like soccer, I think we were paying maybe $100 per swim season. and you don't have to travel to Seattle ot Texas for a meaningless swim meet. I also would imagine a couple of swimsuits, goggles, and cap are much cheaper than a soccer uniform.One of these days some newspaper reporter will do a story on youth soccer commitments and costs compared to other youth sports and it's going to make us look like a bunch of fools.

Let the chips fall where they may, shower multiple teams with praise, but regardless of all that happens over the course of the Cup, these four teams will make the final four, no exceptions.

A reminder that ALL tournament matches (preseason or during the regular season) count on a team's official record. For Viking Cup matches (i.e.), a match that ends in a draw at the end of regulation is recorded as a tie. So, if the final score is 2-2 but one team moves on as the "winner" then the final score will be 2-2. If you are updating the Eurosport Scoreboard you can note in a "post" about the match that it was decided via penalty kicks and recorded with the PK score.

If your squad posts a 2-1-1 record in a preseason tournament, a 1-2-0 record in a regular season tourney, and then goes 11-5 in the regular season, then that team's final record will be 14-8-1 overall heading into the playoffs.
