SC Soccer Forums SCSoccer.com Forums Club Soccer & ODP Hire Okpodu as SCYSA Executive Director

How ironic that Sam Okpodu would be available at a time when SCYSA is looking for an Executive Director.

This may be a chance for SCYSA to grab a hold of a man who can inspire people across all spectrums . . . from clubs to coaches to players of all ages. The passion and vision Sam brings to the game is literally infectious!

He would be an awesome hire for youth soccer in South Carolina!!

Sam's passion and enthusiasm for the game is awesome, but an Executive Director he is not!

Let me further clarify ...

Perhaps Sam would be a worthy candidate for Van Taylor's position when he steps down in the summer.

But in the meantime don't confuse the two positions.

I respectfully have to disagree. Sam Okpodu could not fill the role of SCYSA Executive Director. I do believe he would be a fine fit for Director of ODP however.
