Why does the Byrnes coach not coach at CFC? How can you build a program if you're not working with your local club? Our coach runs off to Columbia for club, when the players don't even play club anymore. I can't believe our administration has allowed this to continue. Back when I played, we played club together and at least were competitive. Not the case anymore.

We didn’t underestimate them. They were a lot better than we thought.

Great post. Now do me a favor and list in Region 2 (since you singled out Byrnes) the coaches that a) work at CFC b) coaches that work with their players.
Also, back then we used to walk to school - in the snow - uphill and sometime without shoes on. Times have changed...
