Mid- Carolina 2 @ Woodruff 1. The score is the minor story here. Just before the half, one of Woodruff's defenders colapsed with apparent concussion symptoms. First ambulance ET's so concerned they called for a medivac helicopter.
The young man transported to Spartanburg Regional about 30 mins later stabalized. They said they thought he would be OK.

Sidebar with the Hanna comments. CJ--Many coaches press out of the back after clearing or attacking balls are played(with or without the lead) if for no other reason than to squeeze the field and to make oppenents strikers work and have no comfort zone(unless you play a flatback).

Idiot may be too strong a word but after the way the school handled the replacement of a coaching legend last year, you will find few with sympathy. Be careful what you wish for.

Agreed Anthony on out of the back, as you are well aware we did that a lot "in the day" as a matter of fact, a young man who is a State Champion Coach (Brian Dender) Still score a lot of goals even when he was moved to the back.

Good to hear from you. The Woodruff player(last word we got) was going to be OK. This was a scare for both teams. Woodruff played a very inspired second half.

Yes, Brian hurt us alot back in the day as did a number of other Stratford players. I remember that "Red Gun" you guys would run the last 15 to 20 mins if you were behind by a goal--it tied quite a few games and won a few I'm sure.
