Irmo?!?! They are doing great, I know it's been against weaker opponents but they have scored 26 goals in their last 3 games including a 8-0 win tonight against spring valley? Is there a weakness in this beast?

Yeah, it is their year because All high schools have lost great players, if they had any competition they would of gotten beat. They aren't that good it just happened to be that high school soccer is not what it has been years prior.

I agree exactly Barcelona10. And that is why it is their year this year. This isn't last year or 2 years ago. I personally think Irmo had a way better team 2 years ago. Like if the Irmo from 2 years ago would play the Irmo from this year the Irmo from 2 years would kill 5-0. But the point is this year is different. No team is as good right now but neither is Irmo. They're just good enough in their own competition. And thats all that matters.

Wando can beat irmo

How so?

Wando may give them more of a push than anyone else, but Irmo has more balance in scoring plus the D seems to be stronger than anything Wando has faced,( Irmo has only given up 6 goals Wando 16 ). I don't have that stats, but how much of the scoring does Burkholder account for with Wando.76 scores for Irmo and 50 for Wando. Stats are great but mean nothing absolutely nothing once the playoffs begin, but I would have to give the edge to Irmo.

Should of been their year last year but got out coached. And last time I checked, both varsity soccer coaches at Wando are solid. Game of matchups and adjustments. If a Wando Irmo match does happen, it will be a fun game to watch and see the battle between BB and EL, and which one can will their team to victory.

Wando and Dorman are the only ones who can actually give Irmo a fight this year.

Lest we forget, they're high school kids. Any of half a dozen teams in the state can beat Irmo on a given day at a neutral site.
