What I think is impressive is how dedicated she seems to be to playing with her soccer ball every day and the attitude she seems to have regarding being the best player she can be. She's going to UNC to play and I'll bet her attitude displayed in the video had something to do with that.

She mentions she is going to UNC however none of the services have her posted as going there and if indeed she is going to UNC she will be the first non National team player in years. Her ability to do magic with the ball will mean very little in a real match. Good luck to her but she seems more like a walk on and novelty than a typical Anson recruit. "Duh,WINNING."

CASL has one of the top female programs in the country, why isn't she playing on a girls team ? just asking. Like I said UNC goes after players with a strong soccer pedigree, National team players etc.. one last time great story, great kid. UNC player, not likely (just my opinion). "Duh,WINNING."

Truth corner kick T Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 218	She actually is playing on a girls' team. Her team is playing at an event next weekend that I'll be at. I may try to watch her team. If I see her parents I'll be sure to let them know that someone who has never seen her play doesn't think that she can hang at UNC. Should someone contact National Soccer Wire also? There are two players that I know of on UNC's roster right now that are from NC and didn't play for CASL. In fact, their club is nowhere near the club that CASL is and yet, there they are, on the roster. A tiny bit of research shows that one kid wasn't an all-american in her jr or sr year (she was a "club all american" in her soph. year though I've never heard of that). Without being an all-american, or coming from a "one of the top female programs in the country" she still managed to play in 10 games as a freshman, start 12 games as a sophomore while playing in all 27. She redshirted this year. I don't think she had the soccer pedigree that you're looking for, but it seems she's been successfull at UNC. I know she wasn't a walk-on.

ODP, Region lll, ECNL experience, super Y anything Harry ? But Harry thinks just cause she can freestyle she can play for UNC. "Duh,WINNING."

You admitted that you've never seen her play and called her a novelty. You also said "UNC player. Not likely." I did some research to show that there is a kid who wasn't an all-american and didn't play at CASL (like you mentioned) yet is still doing very well at UNC. Where did I say that "just cause she can freestyle she can play for UNC"? Help me out. Am I reading the same thing you are? By the way, did you just back up your arguement with Super Y? Wow.
