And if the last defender attempts to tackle a forward going to goal, does get the ball, the center judge is not in a good enough position to see the play, the AR is scared to speak up at the time, and the center deems that the defender who commits the (non)foul is the last defender back...guess what? You are correct, and the powers-that-be at the SCHSL don't care if you have 20 witnesses and video proof of the refs mistake – it's the same punishment you'd get if you got a straight red for violent conduct or you punched an opponent.
