We have played 30' here and have a 1-1 ballgame. Speed still dominates here, as the quick counters provide for a lot of action and excitement. Haven't heard the fans this loud since the fake crown noise was pumped into the stadium on day 1!

Wow, some more excitement here as a Clover defender drills a ball backwards and off the crossbar. So close to an own goal.

And the speed beats BC, as Clover finds the net in the 36th minute. This gives the Clover Blue Eagles the lead at 2-1!

With 1' left to play in the half, we have a corner for, which is played on the floor out deep in front of the goal where BC will drill a shot that is driven just wide of the goal! And that will take us into the half, with Clover having the lead 2-1 over host Brookland-Cayce!

That second goal for Clover was scored by #15 Austin Schlirf.

As we get ready to begin the 2nd period here at the 2011 Palmetto Cup hosted by Brookland-Cayce, we will see the the Bearcats attacking the west end of the Cage, with Clover holding on to a 2-1 lead. The wind appears to be in the Blue Eagles favor this afternoon.
