I KNOW ITS HARD PICKING ALL STAR TEAMS AND NOTHING AGAINST THE KIDS THAT MADE IT BUT I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE LIKE A COMBINE A FEW WEEKENDS BEFORE THEY DO THE PICK,I JUST THINK THAT WILL BE MORE FAIR TO THE KIDS

All 2011 North-South Soccer Classic rosters have been posted and are up to date per information provided. More information about the all-star event will be posted this weekend.

Just curious how three talented seniors from Irmo get overlooked for both Clash of the Carolinas and North/South game.

No coach on the committee..We go down this road every year..It's not enough to be nominated..The coach has to see it thru..That's the answer you'11 get..Look at who is selected and who is on the committee..Only two coaches with no players..They must have missed the meeting..Most that attended had at least one or two chosen..

I'm with polarbear2. We need to have a combine for the all-star games. That way every nominated senior has a fair shot and the talent is seen not just spoken of!! Cause good talented seniors at smaller schools get the short hand of the deal and are passed over!!

Combines are fine..But there is still going to be a group that makes the choices...So I do not think the outcome will be any different..
It's been this way for so long..So coaches are going to give up a Saturday in Columbia to choose someone other than their own players? I don't think I could do that..Choose someone I see for a couple of hours over someone I spent the entire season with...It is...what it is..
My advice...Join the coaches association and get on the committee..

Regardless of what method of selection is used, some people are going to think their player was overlooked. Is your player better than the ones that made it? That is a relative question and a matter of judgement but if your player was included, another player would be overlooked.
