After watching the underdog barca come on top of madrid, it makes me sick to know that such injuste could take place in soccer. But soccer is soccer! HALA MADRID! best team ever! Messi < CR7 Mourinho > Pep

Really? Barca completed something like 500 passes to RM's 175 last night. Possession was 73% - 27% in favor of Barca. True you can win games but to say that RM outplayed Barca is ridiculous.

Cruise control means tacially speaking. Never said outplayed. Sitting in defensively! They can possess all they want. They completed far more passes than that in the Copa Final and Madrid won! Regardless of what anyone says those are the Two Best teams in the world. Tues will be interesting!

again, you are talking of one game, and yes barcelona are the biggest wussies in the history of the game.
i still cant watch epl, no any different from high school and college soccer, punt and pray.

Really? Because I'd equate the game I watched the other day (and all other games I've watched Barcelona play where they complete 5x as many passes as the other team and spend 75% of their time in the opponents half of the field) to a high school team playing a middle school team. Gerard Pique the CB for Barcelona probably had more passes and touches than any Real Madrid player. That's just a sad way to compete. At least go out there and defend, body somebody off the ball...do SOMETHING besides waiting.
At least the EPL is a physical game for MEN. Even in the worst contest, they at least go out there and play like guys, not fairies. This La Liga crap looks like little boys playing slap and tickle with each other. Even the worst EPL team has people that go out there and don't take it from a whimpy group of Spaniards.

and this is mourinhos tactics, a coach that made a name for himself in epl.
no even capello ever played as defensive as mou in madrid, that is just againts barcelona, and only bc mourinho has won champions league twice is the only reason he hasnt been sacked yet.
yes barcelona players are divers, sp busquet, biggest wussies ever.
again, when players are technically terrible, they play "tough," there is not point of doing dumb-wreckless tackles when you are technically gifted.
even to tackle there is a skill to it... at least a few teams in mls and ncaa (akron, michigan and santa barbara) are trying to put the ball down but for the most part, long ball soccer still sucks, puts me to sleep.

mou has bought into his own hype.
also it's laughable to see a madridista complain about the epl and saying that when players are "technically terrible" they have to play "rough", considering that real madrid was reduced to nothing other than sitting back and playing with fire in how harsh & violent their tackles were, without even mentioning all the off-the-ball challenges. when you're playing for a 0-0 draw in your own stadium, when you can't be arsed to play football in front of your own fans--that's something sad. how the mighty have fallen. real madrid might as well take the "real" out of their name. even that sham of a club atletico plays for a win at home.

again, i seriously doubt mourinho is going to stay too long at madrid, the history of the team is too big for mourinhos defensive tactic.
he has one more game to prove he has what it takes to be there, Madrid is bigger than Mourinho and he knows that, rumors are that Chelsea and ManCity are going to break the bank for him after this season.
mourinho is known as a great tactician (yes that includes playing defensive) but i seriously doubt he is going to stay too long at Madrid if he does what he did in the last game againts barcelona, that is an insult to the greatest team in the history of sports.
good luck to mourinho but if he doesnt start playing offensive soccer, he will be sacked there is not question about that, his 2 previous champions league tittles are no going to save him.
yes is an insult to Madridistas to play defensive soccer, that is just how it is.
