A reminder to all coaches that nominations for the SCHSSCA All-State Teams are being accepted through Wednesday, May 11 at 5:00 p.m. To nominate a deserving boys/girls varsity soccer player, please visit this link.

An all-state team will be selected for: BOYS - Class 4A, Class 3A, Class 2A, Class 1A; and GIRLS - Class 4A, Class 3A, Class 2A/1A.

Please remember that is ALL-STATE and should be worthy of the top players in the Palmetto State, not just on a local or regional level.

Again no love for mann girls.

Patriot - I would venture to guess that most nominees are made by the coach of that player. Your beef may be with the Mann coach. Also, I noticed that there were no players listed for several of the top teams (BE boys for one). Maybe there will be late additions to the lists.

Am i over looking something but is there not a Spartanburg or Dutch Fork player nominated

I hope so because nobody in the state wants to go up against Kaleigh Kurtz of Riverside she is awesome!!Few players can control a game ,but she is one of them!!

I find it a bit curious that the following Clash of the Carolinas players were not nominated for All-State:

Alexa Gainey, West Florence
Haley Hunt, Aiken
Mary Katherine Macklen, Dutch Fork
Sara Manasotis, Hilton Head
Hali Singleton, Fort Mill
Catie Smith, JL Mann

I realize that being one of the top 18 seniors in all classes (Clash) does not make you one of the top 18 players overall in your specific class (All-State), but I still wonder why they were not even nominated.
