A little confused here. Saluda vs Broome last night. Saluda up 1-0 at the half. In the second half there is a 45 minute weather delay. Saluda loses in OT. Should the game have been official?

Once the 2nd half starts, it becomes an official game. Tough loss for Saluda.

I believe that after the second half has started the game can be considered an official game. That is not for the refs or coaches to decide. From my understanding it is up to the SCHSL to make the decision as to pick the game back up at the point it was suspended or to call it an official complete game.
