The 2009 Double Overtime Lower State Championship between IRMO and WANDO was an amazing game to see.

During the 2009 IRMO vs NW State Championship, ESPN Rise reported the crowd of 8,000 plus in Memorial Stadium was the largest they had witnessed for a high school game. Time will tell, but the upcoming Championship between these two dynastys has the potential to rival attendance of the 2009 Championship.

Which program will turn out the largest FAN BASE on Saturday? ESPN Rise will attend the game and will produce a special on State Champions for ESPN to run afterwards.

So will it be on tv that night live or later or never

I'm told it's to be broadcast by ESPN soon after the Championship weekend as they are unable to broadcast Championships live due to the unpredictable nature of which teams will compete. This is a rare and valuable opportunity for SC High School Soccer to be highlighted on a national basis on ESPN. We need to fill up the stadium!!
