QM, you've come as close as anyone to having seen them all. And the cases you make are fine.
Conversely, on the boys' side, I HAVE seen just about all of the names on the weekly lists in multiple venues/competitions. I can tell you that, over the season, the lists abjectly failed by either inclusion or exclusion to be accurate, or even particularly informed. One week, a kid who was INJURED moved UP on the list.
If you're going to post this kind of list, be ready for give and take. And be ready to defend it with something more than cool pictures and graphics.

Backscreen, do ever watch satire on TV - John Stewart, Colbert or perhaps comedians such as David Letterman?

BTW - Do you really think Letterman's Top 10 list is REALLY a Top 10 list based on any real research. Really, REALLY?????? (You need to watch Saturday Night Live and Tosh.O, maybe then you will get it!)
I don't know how much more simple to make it for you. It.is.not.meant.to.be.the.be.all.end.all.of.player.rankings.in.this.state.
While it is not meant as a joke, because the girls on the list are outstanding players, it is not meant to be the final authority on rankings. It is one GUYS Uneducated, Unscientfic, Unproven OPINION.
With that in mind, he doesn't have to give you the reasons he has picked anyone. It is not meant to be taken as seriously as YOU are taking it. Do you get it yet?????

Awesome...now if Sconners and Wakaflockameyers can send us some film, we can begin our ranking of who laughed their butt off harder, farther, under what adverse or favorable circumstances, and with what type of supporting cast. I plan to meet tonight with a panel of experts who, while they may not all be soccer coaches, are highly trained professionals who specialize in evaluating the quality and nature of laughing your butt off.

Kids play sports because they find it fun. Eliminate the fun and soon you eliminate the kid.

Again, the point is, if the list is a joke, and a "satire", present it as such. If it's an actual attempt to create a ranking, present it THAT WAY. The problem comes when you cross the two: presenting a ranking with real names, then defend its inadequacy with the "satire and entertainent" defense.

I think it's a legitimate attempt to give a light-hearted shout out to some good players around the state while providing some entertainment, but the satirical edge on the "expertise" is pretty obvious. I think it's actually a satire on those high-strung folks WHO TAKE THESE KINDS OF RANKINGS WAY TOO SERIOUSLY.
