two american guys calling the reee-all madrid vs la galaxy match.
reee-all means nothing to us americans, why don't these english speaking idiots talking to an US audience say royal madrid. how do they pick & choose what to say in spanish vs english is my point?

Wonder if the same match broadcast in Spain has Spanish announcers referring to the Los Angeles Galaxia?

Heck, in South Carolina, people ask: "Why is it called REAL Salt Lake? Is there a fake Salt Lake out there somewhere?"

ya, i'm sure salt lake is on the spanish royalty radar.
& to be consistent in one language, shouldn't it be
real lago de sal? why would you use just one spanish word in your team name? & why would you use a spanish name? why not our own american identity? i understand yth teams naming themselves after their favorite teams, but a professional adult US team copying a foreign team is kind of bush league, for real

Just another reason why soccer/football has it's own special mystique that transcends national borders.

Also, FWIW, Real Salt Lake is one of MLS's model franchises in terms of facilities and player development.
