You have to accept that there are certain games that don't require 100% effort, they are games that have teams that aren't very good. In these games the fouls that you are going to be calling are going to be the simple calls, not the complex ones that require you to keep track of how many fouls you have called for what, where on the field the fouls occured etc..... You misinterpreted my idea of not giving 100%. But you don't need to make the deep runs down into the corners if there is nothing going on, you don't need to do all of the little things that aren't really noticed. You should probably calm down a bit too. Thanks for jumpong all over me like that. I am sure that I needed to be criticized a bit when I first started refereeing, I know that I make mistakes every now and then when I ref now, but I am quite sure that I am more critical of my own reffing than any fans, coaches or players. I have calls that will nag me for days even if it didn't change anything in the game, just how critical I am....and I don't make big mistakes...i am constantly rated one of the top referees in the area, yes we actually rate or referees in Illinois. I just love how some of you use this forum as a way to jump all over people in an anonymous fashion.
